There are three laboratories within Vatan Plastik. Our laboratories are organized according to the needs of production sites are located. By experienced chemists and engineers in laboratories, production tests and inspections according to girdilerimiz and products are subject to certain criteria..

MFI (Melt Flow Index) Test:

It determines the melt flow index of the raw materials, products, semi-finished goods and granule having the polymer properties. Our firm performs our tests in accordance with ASTM D 1238 Test Standards.

Tensile-Tensile Test:

PE film strength and elongation are determined. Our company is testing according to ASTM D 882 test standards.

Pull – break test:

Resistance and elongation of the PE films are determined. Our firm performs our tests in accordance with ASTM D 882 Test Standards.

Shrink test:

Shrinkage of the PE films that are going to heat at 150 oC. Tests are performed in accordance with our company’s test method.

Ash determination:

The amount of additive/filling within the polymers are determined as percentage. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with ISO 3451 Test Standards.

Moisture determination:

The moisture within the polymers and materials that can hold moisture is determines as percentage.

Density Determination:

The densities of the polymers are determined. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with ASTM D 792 Test Standards.

Color control:

It determines the color differences in compound products.

Dart Drop Test:

Puncture with an impact is tested. It can be applied for all films. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with ASTM D 792 Test Standards.

Izod impact strength test:

With this test which is applied for engineering plastics impact resistance is determined. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with TS ISO EN 180 Test Standards.

Friction Test:

The slickness values of the films are determined. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with ASTM D 1894 Test Standards.

Aging Test:

It ensures to determine the deformation in greenhouses occurs as a result of climate condition in machine environment within a short time.

Vicat Test:

The softening temperatures of the polymers are determined. This test is applied for the engineering plastics. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with TSE EN ISO 306 Test Standards.

Shore (hardness) Test:

Hardness of the thermoplastic materials are determined according to Shore D hardness while harness of the elastomers are determined according to shore A. Our firm performs the tests in accordance with TS ISO EN 868 Test Standards
